Costa Rica. January 2024. Costa Rica Green Valley continues to create positive social impact for the residents of Costa Rica’s western region, recently announcing the official launch of its employment platform, Portafolio Talent, which began operating last December.
According to CINDE data, currently, more than 60,000 people commute from the western region to work at companies established within the Greater Metropolitan Area (GAM). The goal is to enhance quality of life for this western region.
The platform aims to facilitate the creation of a comprehensive talent database in Costa Rica, and to efficiently connect professionals with job opportunities at Costa Rica Green Valley. Additionally, it seeks to boost economic development for the area.
«The vision shared between Costa Rica Green Valley and Portafolio Inmobiliario, as a development partner, is to contribute to the western region’s sustainable development through job opportunities and business linkages. We prioritize local talent inclusively, and in this way connect to the various social needs in the communities surrounding the project,» stated Roberto Argüello, Project Director at Costa Rica Green Valley.
Individuals will benefit by gaining direct access to exclusive job opportunities at Costa Rica Green Valley, via a transparent selection process, and will have an opportunity to actively participate in the area’s innovation and economic growth.
Portafolio Talent has been designed for easily accessibility and the user experience, with an intuitive interface and user-friendly tools, ensuring a seamless experience for users interested in exploring the new job opportunities offered at the project.
In this initial phase, DDS Lab, a tenant of Costa Rica Green Valley, will be hiring professionals for a wide variety of positions, ranging from technical manufacturing and design roles to managerial positions, thus covering diverse areas of expertise.
For the recruitment and selection process, interested individuals must complete the respective platform registration, create a detailed profile, and match with a position’s skillset and requirements. Then, hiring companies will conduct the necessary review of applicant profiles, interview scheduling, and the corresponding follow-ups.
Although interviews and follow-ups cannot be scheduled directly via the platform, the process will be facilitated through external contact. The platform will not be the only hiring channel; however, its use is encouraged due to its effectiveness and the central role it plays in the recruitment process.
