Mountain cycling enthusiasts will be able to experience the thrill of this discipline this weekend with the second edition of the Recreativa MTB Ataica 2025.
This is a sporting event with a social impact that will take place next Sunday, March 30, in Grecia.
Starting from the La Argentina de Grecia sports complex at 8:00 a.m., the race offers two challenges: a 15-kilometer route and a 30-kilometer route, both with scenic paths crossing pastures, viewpoints, and sugarcane fields.
Designed for intermediate-level cyclists, this competition not only promises physical challenges but also an opportunity to contribute to a transformative cause.
This recreational ride aims to raise funds for the Asociación Ataica, which provides daytime care, meals, and training for 55 adults with disabilities.

Registration costs ¢15,000 and includes insurance, medical assistance, mechanical support, professional photography, aid stations, and a commemorative t-shirt (for the first 150 registered participants).
